One of the main activities of San Patricio is in fact the St. Patrick festivities which begin on March 17th, where many Irish descendents gather here for this celebration of St. Patrick, the patron Saint of Ireland.

Another popular activity is Sport Fishing, which each year a tournament takes place in the Barra de Navidad beaches, Maleque.

San Patricio is the gateway to the beautiful beaches of Costalegre towards the northern area, and to the south the magnificent Manzanillo port, first commercial port of the Mexican pacific.
